pocketmouse lent me some vanilla, since I unconscionably didn't have any in my own kitchen, and a tray of cookies with semi-sweet and white chocolate chips and dried cranberries in them is in my oven.

I'm thinking the rest of the dough will go in the fridge and get baked up fresh later. Sure tastes like cookie dough, though. Yum.

How did you not have vanilla?!

Next time you're up here we should take you to the place where they make really amazing small-batch vanilla. Mmmmmmm.

I don't know! Obviously I thought I had some or I'd have bought it when I was at the store buying chocolate chips, which I don't normally keep in. I know I don't have a well-stocked pantry by anyone's standards, even a college student's, but come on.
