I find that the Harris Teeter store-brand pasta is every bit as good as the blue-box Barilla kind, and about half the cost, so yay. (You wouldn't think there'd be much difference in dried pastas, would you? At least I wouldn't. But there is. So I'm glad to find a less-expensive substitute for a kind I like a lot.)
I made
sanj's tuna-mac salad thing tonight, with rotini (not macaroni) and frozen (not canned) peas and white (not light) tuna. Probably could use more mayo-with-stuff-in-it next time, but I'm glad to add easy things to my repertoire, in any event. That's lunch for the rest of the week.
