I find that the Harris Teeter store-brand pasta is every bit as good as the blue-box Barilla kind, and about half the cost, so yay. (You wouldn't think there'd be much difference in dried pastas, would you? At least I wouldn't. But there is. So I'm glad to find a less-expensive substitute for a kind I like a lot.)

I made sanj's tuna-mac salad thing tonight, with rotini (not macaroni) and frozen (not canned) peas and white (not light) tuna. Probably could use more mayo-with-stuff-in-it next time, but I'm glad to add easy things to my repertoire, in any event. That's lunch for the rest of the week.

For values of "local". It's the one in Rockville - may be walkable from the White Flint metro for those of you who don't drive?, but I've got it pretty well integrated into my weekend routine.
