I sent a package on Saturday. It was only going a few hundred miles, so it should have arrived by yesterday, I'd have thought, at the latest.
... It was delivered to me today.
[sigh]
So first thing tomorrow morning I'ma hit the post office on my way to work, and see if I can't get them to try again and maybe faster, since it should, you know, have been there by now.

If it's any consolation, you're totally not alone in this. We've been living here for 10 years; you'd think the people at the town post office would be willing to hold packages which come in for us, and call us and tell us to come and get them. But noooooo -- they send everything back automatically because they don't deliver to our street, period. (This would be why we still use our old PO box, which is two towns north of here. ::facepalm::)
