right again!
Yesterday: screaming headache, words swimming a little on the page, came home early and lay down.
Today: the idea was to soldier it out, but after only a couple of hours I couldn't take it any more. You know how when it feels like your eyebrows and your cheekbones are on fire it's because your sinuses are inflamed and you might want to see a doctor about that? Yeah, the doctor I went to looked in my ears and didn't like what he saw one bit (puffed air through the little air puffer and nothing moved, which I guess isn't too good?, and he said the left ear was way swollen, which was extra-good news because I actually feel more pressure in the right ear), and he looked in my nose and wasn't wild about that either, with everything swollen and distressed up there, and he looked in my throat and wasn't surprised to hear that I've had PND making me sick to my stomach as well. Yay! But my lungs are okay, and my temperature was 96.5 (NOTE AGAIN PLEASE that this means 99 or even high 98 on me is like 100 on other people, and wouldn't it be great if I could get a medical professional to agree with me on this), and my BP was only a little elevated the way it gets when you don't feel well, so.
Two-week course of antibiotics, yay. I ♥ the pharmacist. (I said to her that she was probably everybody's favorite person in the store, right, because she makes sick people feel better. She beamed like this had never occurred to her before. Srsly?)
