Dudes, I am no good at brainstorming. You know how bad I always say I am at coming up with even three requests, never mind four - I am exponentially worse at brainstorming potential fandoms to nominate. HALP.

I am having this problem, too, argh. Everything I've thought of is pretty darn likely to be nominated by someone else!

That I'd be fine with, right, because at least the thing would get nominated; but what I'm crap at is coming up with a list of my own, and then it turns out nobody else did nominate the damn thing and I only remember I wanted to nominate it once I go to request it and it isn't there.

(But omg a santa-hat icon already. Eep!)

I guess the thing to do is to start forming your requests/offers lists now, and then nominate anything that seems rare? I realized I could nom BOOKS, and now I think I can come up with 6, but there are several things I want to nom *just in case*, and...

Also, what's up with being able to nominate songs/albums? How is that going to work? I would look at the FAQ but it's blocked at work. :(

I'm not sure I understand the question. I don't get nominating songs and albums either, really, but if people can write a thousand words about a thirty-second TV commercial, surely they can do it about a four-minute song. People are crazy. :-) [The format is "Album Title - Artist (album)" or "Song Title - Artist (song)", if that was what you were asking.]

Omg, there are tv commercial fics? Wtf? Yeah, I was wondering if people really planned to write fics around songs---huh. I am a bit perplexed.
