more adventures with student health

so this morning, again with the stomach cramps. when they're bad enough that i can't sit up straight, i don't go to class. and when this is the second time in two weeks (and, possibly, the third time in five weeks) that they've been this bad, i take my little self to student health.

the doctor listens to my symptoms and says "hmm" and pushes on a couple of places until he hits one where i say "ow" and he says "hmm, yeah."

which is, you know, at the same time, exactly what you don't want to hear from a medical professional, and exactly what you do.

gave me mmmdrugs to try to keep what is now gastritis from becoming an ulcer. ugh. and took blood, too, to make sure my gall bladder isn't going to rise up and throttle me. (i'm not sure what it is he's looking for, gall-bladder-wise, actually. but the spot where the needle went in my arm, it hurts.)

Has he said anything about diverticulitis? Matt has had that, and the symptoms sound very similar. It apparently happens when little pouches form in the intestines and become infected. Good luck with the gall bladder; they're no fun.
