Had my CT scan this afternoon, and I've been kind of looking at the pictures in amazement ever since. Not that I can really tell what they mean, but I've been looking at them all the same. I have managed to work out which bit is the top of my head, which is my nose, and so on. I think I've identified the maxillary sinuses, the ethmoid sinuses, and the nasal cavity - in which one side is shockingly narrower and more occluded than the other. I can't tell about the frontal sinuses; I don't know if I'm supposed to be able to see them from the, well, the front, and there's something I can see from the top but I don't know what's going on there. I'm going to try to see the doctor again on Monday instead of two weeks from yesterday, which is when my next appointment is presently scheduled.

(Then I had a crazy unconscious nap on the sofa, and I'm seriously about to go to bed. I've got BBCA on and Michael Ball is on Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, and I'm kind of freaking out a little bit at the idea of Marius Pontmercy as Edna Turnblad, holy crap.)

I'm faithfully taking my medicine twice a day and eating the fucking yogurt that goes with it (discovered today that in fact it was a two-week course, not ten days, so I've got to buy four more days' worth of yogurt, boo), and it's been seeming to get a little better every day but not as much better as I expected or as quickly as I'd like; and today I'm pretty much right back where I started, if not worse. Very sad. I just want it to go away.
