two things i have learned this week:

1. I actually do much better on the elliptical barefoot than I do in my running shoes.

2. The backward ellipses - down in back, up in front - are way harder than the forward ones. I'm going to have to do ten minutes forward, five minutes backward until some muscle groups get stronger, because damn.

I'm the opposite with the elliptical machine. I find going backward on the machine a lot easier than forward.
