So it seems there's a con of some kind happening this weekend just a couple of blocks from where I live. I won't be there, but I'll be here!, so if y'all have a minute to grab a drink, a cup of coffee, lunch, whatever, pls let me know! I'm in class this evening, but otherwise, hey!

Lunch Saturday? I have a 1:00 panel, so it would have to be 2:00. Or are you taking tomorrow off?

No, I'm not taking tomorrow off. Lunch Saturday works for me. Yays!

Where do you want to meet? Hotel, or somewhere else?

Let's meet at the fountain on Ellsworth - you know where that is? That way I know I'll be able to park the car legally, which in the block or so around the hotel I'm less optimistic about.

Is it over by downtown SS? I don't remember seeing a fountain.

It is! It's a fountain in the ground that kids usually play in. Bottom of the staircase - you can't miss the staircase.

Oh, right! I was watching kids play there yesterday afternoon and wishing I could join them. OK!

And I'll see who else is around at that point, but the official lunch break is at noon. I just know I'm not going to be ready to eat then. And I'm looking forward to seeing you. [g]

And FYI, I'll probably be there around 2:05-2:10, after the panel. E. Fremedon will probably come along. If so, brace yourself for lots of Dr Who talk.
