1. "If you are looking for a new career or a career change", says the training-center commercial. Can someone explain to me what is supposed to be the difference?

2. Why do they keep trying to sell us air fresheners that smell like water?

My guess, based on no evidence whatsoever, is that they are (clumsily) trying to target both those who do and do not currently have 'careers.'
