When I was on vacation at my friends' place in March, they hooked me up with Lego Indiana Jones, which was fun - and then with Lego Star Wars (The Complete Saga), which was DUUUDE, it was awesome.
I bought it myself when I got home, and I played and played and played. I finished all six movies. I went back and did the bonuses. I went back and did the speed bonuses. I did the extra character bonuses. I did the extra bounty-hunter bonuses. I did the whimsical Lego bonuses. I did everything, got everything, unlocked everything, and I was still only at about 95% complete. I had not done the Super Story bonuses, which require you to complete a whole movie's worth of game in an hour or less and collect 100,000 studs (coins, points) or more.
The prequels, I did no problem. 98.9% complete. But the original trilogy - getting those in under an hour by yourself is hard, you guys. I got well over 100K for each of them, but I was at about an hour and a half for each one. 98.9% complete. You don't get credit for only one of the things. Okay, so I went back and did the first movie as fast as I could, without worrying about points, because I already had a score over 100K. Came in at 55 minutes with about 89K. 98.9% complete. It turns out you don't get credit for anything if you don't get both - and in order to succeed you have to beat your previous best score. It's just that the pre-set "previous best" is 1 hour and 100K. So now I have to beat 55 minutes and 180K, without extras like point multipliers, which is bloody impossible.
So I've begun again with a new game - all those levels I thought I was done with - because I will reach 100%, goddammit.
And Lego Harry Potter comes out on Tuesday. I can't wait. :-)
