He was actually talking about the Blagojevich case. But what do you want from me?, I'm a linguist and when you talk about 'case' (especially these days) that's the first place my mind goes.

We were both heartily confused by that - in Illinois you can't get away from the ablative? - until we realized that you, too, meant the Blajogevich case. :-> It will be over soon?

The jury started deliberating yesterday. There are lots of pools about how long they're going to take. A lot of people think they won't want to go over the weekend, but the jury instructions are 135 pages, so things might drag out a bit. And then we still have to put up with a couple years of appeals.

And on top of everything, there's still no sign of our getting a competent governor until at least 2014. This has got to be the most fucked up state ever.

He says of course you do!, and that's fine. He cares about all the cases Czech has, which is a set that happens not to include the ablative. :-)
