weekend

Yesterday I walked to my voice lesson, where I leveled up in breath support as lower abdominal workout, and then walked home, and then did my errands, on which I acquired kitchen towels and oven mitts that aren't falling to shreds (and for a bonus, they even coordinate), and also some groceries. I spent a lot of the afternoon and evening making stuff fit better in my kitchen, which is teensy and every square inch is worth its weight in gold.

Today I went to the farmer's market and got early honeycrisp apples, yum, and also an Asian pear and one of what I assume are the last of the peaches, and a couple of ears of sweetcorn, hurrah. And then I got better canisters at Ikea for my ongoing Make My Kitchen Suck Less project. And also hit Target where I got some badly-needed skirt hangers, and also some blue-tac and a sugar bowl, on the most random errand ever.

Now: besides putting things away and taking out the trash and the recycling, I absolutely must do laundry. Yes. I know my life is awfully exciting. Try not to be consumed with jealousy. :-)

You could come see my yarn! Yarn is exciting.

I got up at 7:30, but I have yet to achieve pants today. Though I will need to take some paperwork to the rental office before they close, so I perceive that pants are in my future.

I want to Clean All The Things, but with [personal profile] pocketmouse moving on Saturday there's really no point. So really I need to clean As Many Of The Things As I Need To Cook For The Next Couple Of Meals, but I keep stalling out on just which things those are. Decisions = hard, and I have no brain today.

I think you're life sounds good right now, balanced and all. I'm heading out this week to buy veggies and fruits and so on to continue forward with my switch over to non-meat eating. I'm wondering if my digestive system will get over the shock *G*.
