A teammate of mine on Tuesday was talking about the stomach flu that had been plaguing her house. She'd had it on Monday but was feeling better, only she'd had to keep her wee boy home on Tuesday after he'd been sick in the car, poor thing, on the way to day care.

Guess who's got it now?

But I've got soup and vitamins and things, so I'll be all right. Within a day or so, if it treats me the same way it treated her.

Also kind of stuffy in the head, and this is the time of year when I'm reminded that even the tissues with lotion in them tear up the end of my nose if I am required to use them often enough. Wah.

Do you have an old sheet or pillowcase that you could tear up for hankies? Worn cotton is so much nicer than any kind of paper tissue.

At some point I will have to either buy handkerchiefs or find something I can tear up for that purpose. In the meantime, I have the soft tissues with lotion in, and also carmex to smear on the end of my nose and my upper lip. :-]
