neti pot

Well, it was indeed weird, I'm not gonna lie. It felt like I remember it feeling to learn to swim, the pressure of the water up in the bridge of my nose. And at first I was afraid it might not even work; my sinuses are quite narrow, though I don't think I'm any sort of museum exhibit or anything, but I had to tip my head over further than the manual suggested in order for the water to come out the other side. I did get it working, though; only I wish it could go up and irrigate/flush out the sinuses between my eyebrows as well.

Eventually I'll learn how long it takes to get through half the solution; this time I underestimated on both sides and had a lot left over.

Neither N. nor I have ever gotten good at the half-estimation; we just switch back and forth until all the solution is gone. Sometimes the second run-through is the best, though, because it clears out the stuff loosened by the first one.

I love my neti pot, but the more you need it, the worse it feels to use it.
