so why is it ...

... that i bruise so easily?

i don't always feel pain when i have bruises. but let my skin experience what doesn't feel, really, like very much pressure (percussion, not so much, but pressure, yes), and it turns purple for a week. those of you who think thumbprints on upper arms are a myth? they're not. i just carried an overnight bag through two airports today? big nasty shoulder-strap stripe on my shoulder. i suppose i'm lucky i don't constantly have bruises from my clothes.

Definitely check that out. My brother had a syndrome when he was younger that started out with him bruising easily. It's similar to hemophelia, and he had to get all of his white blood cells replaced. It was not pretty.
