so why is it ...

... that i bruise so easily?

i don't always feel pain when i have bruises. but let my skin experience what doesn't feel, really, like very much pressure (percussion, not so much, but pressure, yes), and it turns purple for a week. those of you who think thumbprints on upper arms are a myth? they're not. i just carried an overnight bag through two airports today? big nasty shoulder-strap stripe on my shoulder. i suppose i'm lucky i don't constantly have bruises from my clothes.

(unusually flexible? Low body temperature? Cold hands and feet? Novocaine doesn't do as much as the dentist thinks it ought?).

Ulp. That's *me*. At least in a mild way. That's... disturbing.

Here's a pointer to some info on the one I have EDS. If you've got the Novocaine symptom and are hyperextensible, you should definitely check it out.

But on the bright side, your hair and skin are FAAAAABULOUS!
