Did you use two email addresses to split yourself like that? Because so far, my big worry is that Google seems to want me to put my real name out there to participate, and I seriously want to retain psuedonymity.
Yes. It's attached, rather understandably, to whichever e-mail address you use to set it up. I suppose you could change the name on your profile to be whatever name you wanted, but then you'd be changing what name your e-mails from that address would come "From" as well. Easiest to use a different e-mail address without one's real name attached, as far as I'm concerned.
