the modern family.
Just got a text from my cousin the doctor: "Are you available at 1pm for a conference call re: gram?"
So, yeah.
She's done poorly and recovered before, so she may yet surprise us, but I don't think anyone is counting on anything of the sort. My college roommate was asking me yesterday if she's the last one - and she is, depending how you count. She's got two sisters who are in much better health, but she's the last grandparent for all of her grandchildren, and I'm pretty sure she's the last parent for her other children-in-law as well - that is, I know my one uncle's parents have both passed, and also the other aunt's mother, and I don't know about her father. So there may be one more.
I'm feeling pretty peaceful, actually; just hoping my mom and everybody can hang in there.
