(Tangent: "seize" is one of those words I can seldom spell correctly on the first try.) b) I am feeling a little better after a two-, maybe two-and-a-half-day migraine - in retrospect I should have gone home when I started feeling a little cruddy Tuesday afternoon, but it was all the way until Wednesday afternoon before the nausea that kept me home on Wednesday had resolved itself into migraine awfulness, and today I was still fragile enough to want to do my work in the dark instead of in the office, so I did. No soap. (Radio!) Er, that is, I have a bottle of St Ives shower gel in Vanilla, and also a bottle of something else that I frankly can't remember what it is. It's green and sort of herbal-scented. It's the emergency back-up shower gel for when I'm sick of vanilla, when my skin needs a shake-up, or when Gentleman Caller is here.
2. Do you have any watermelon in your refrigerator?
No.
3. Is there anything moldy in your refrigerator?
I don't think so. There's barely anything in my refrigerator at all.

All the parts are in the right order, but it's not really put together. GC has been a terrible influence on me in that area.

It was white when I got it. It's both old and coffee-stained by now.

In my bedroom: persimmon next to a sort of peach (again, two shades off the same card). I like me some bright colors.

No. The building has a vestigial chimney - which I assume is bricked up - and there are birds that nest up there; in the late afternoon and early evening they circle around and around like a Hitchcock movie. The other day GC looked very closely to be sure they weren't bats. If I did go up to the roof who knows whether the guano would be up to my ankles or what.

I did!, but I finally gave it to the Goodwill after moving it to three apartments without ever hooking it up.
