So I know a lot of women don't remove any of their body hair, or don't give too much thought to their underarms even if they do. But I do shave mine, and the hair their is frankly the coarsest I've got, which is kind of a pain; even brand-new freshly shaved, I'd always have a shadow there, and probably also a little razor-burn or otherwise irritated skin to boot (it doesn't seem right to have both!), and therefore I'd always be a little self-conscious in sleeveless situations. (I'm also not crazy about my arms themselves, so sleeveless situations are rare, but that's a topic for another day.)

But! I've been using Dove go sleeveless and it really does seem to do what it says on the tin. I mean: it hasn't completely changed my life in five days, as its commercials would have you believe. And it doesn't make the hair any finer, alas. But it does indeed condition the skin and make it generally look less like I mustn't have shaved even when I have just shaved, and it does so more than other deodorants, even others from Dove. (Normally I think most products are basically the same stuff, with different fragrances. Not in this case.)

So, you know, if your underarm life is like mine, you might consider it. :-)

Dangit, there are so many Dove products that sound GREAT to me, but I have yet to meet one that the fragrance doesn't do bad things to me. They should make unscented ones!

I would also highly recommend laser hair removal. I mean, it only sorta worked on my underarms, because I bought groupons at a couple places and got my legs done at the good one (which worked really well and I'm thinking of going back, it's just that place is an hour away--but my lower legs that I got done are basically hairless, and my underarms are probably 60% gone)
