Fark.com had a headline that said "After nearly 12 months of carnage, is 2016 silently stalking its greatest prize? Or is it just 'a heavy cold' as the palace spokesman claims?" - and my husband is on tenterhooks. Not that one is a royalist of any kind, but he does have family there, and can you imagine what losing the queen would do to Britain right now? OMFG.
