Friends:

This afternoon, after I protested that I (for once) do not need a nap, my kid agreed to take his nap by himself and not require me to stay with him the whole time. Granted he insisted on having his nap in my and his dad's bed rather than his own - but he's in there napping by himself right now as I type.

The freedom is overwhelming.

(edit: He slept from 1:00 to 3:15 and there was no jinx! \o/)

YAY NAP!

He naps regularly (on weekends at home; I suspect he is not really napping at school anymore), but for many many weeks he has insisted that I be with him (sometimes also napping myself, sometimes holding him in the easy chair). Sweet, but time consuming.
