i think i'll put ms. cate blanchett on my Damn Shame list.
as some of you know, the Damn Shame File is a file where we (which is often, but not always, to say i) keep track of the boys who are irrecoverably Unavailable (or, less often, Unacceptable -- and sorry about the alliteration), i.e. gay, married (especially with kids), etc.
the Damn Shame list, which i've just created, is not unrelated to the DSF -- in this case, it's a damn shame she's a woman (or, a damn shame my tastes don't run toward women; ymtc), because (elizabeth, bandits, LotR, the gift, and the upcoming veronica guerin and the missing, almost certainly among others) ... damn.
