Since about this time last week my appetite has been, shall we say, poor, can't imagine why, and at least half of what I do eat seems to (ahem) go straight through me. Not, as I said to Himself, that this is a recommended strategy for weight loss or anything. "What's your secret?" "Oh—existential despair."

There right with you. Mine is mostly looking at food, and my body saying 'I don't think so'.

Strangely, I’m enduring the same. My fridge is full of food, but I don’t want to eat any of it, and I’m subsisting on tea, porridge and biscuits.
