the delight of finding a simple solution to an aggravating problem

me, earlier: sonofa... isn't the whole point of non-proportional fonts (like courier new) that each character is the same width? so how come the spaces aren't aligning properly from one line to the next? it's no good if my example doesn't line up with the interlinear gloss (though the final gloss can do its own thing, i don't mind)! GAH!

me, now: oh. oh! when i went to insert the s-wedge and c-wedge symbols, the stupid machine gave me those symbols in TNR instead of courier new! so if i change the font on those characters, everything will line up perfectly! it does, it does! thank god!

yeah, when i'm in this state, it doesn't take an awful lot to make me happy.

this thing on russian participles may actually be the worst paper i've ever written.

but of course i haven't written the one on the dative case yet.
