the participle paper is really coming together. i mean, it's not good stuff, not by a long shot -- but it's not complete shite, which, given the shape it was in the other day, is really something.

plus, as i mentioned before, soon i won't have to think about it any more. and then all i'll have to do is grade a stack (probably about knee-deep) of finals ...
