i had a bit of a sore throat, but i was feeling fine.

this morning, even! when i got to work! and then not long after i'd sat down at my desk (actually, during the Meeting From Hell, grr), i started feeling worse. and worse. and worse. now, my head feels like it weighs a ton, and i've got that dry-as-a-bone (but swollen and painful) feeling in every sinus, and all i want to do is lie down in a room with a humidifier running and sleep until i feel better.

head colds suck. MM -- because i'm sure i got it from her -- can have this one back.
