1. x-men love: the second movie is better, but i've got the first one on now, and i'm still with the mad love for sir ian mckellen and mr. (sir?) patrick stewart. ahh, characters with History.
2. FSIL tells me my brother got a call today offering him a place at the university of michigan! huzzah! now, of course, he isn't sure whether he should take it. since they'd sort of settled on columbia and had been operating in Columbia Mode all this time. but of course they'd settled on columbia because they couldn't count on getting in off the wait-list at michigan in time to make a decision. (before they'd spent all this time figuring they'd go to columbia, he'd have leapt at the michigan place.)
sigh. he has to give them his decision tomorrow morning.
