after a yay-nifty weekend

i spent last night trying to sleep but failing, answering interruptions of the upset-stomach variety every couple of hours. not sure if it was something i ate or something i picked up, so since it was going to be a slow-ish work day i called off but gave them my number in case they needed me to answer anything immediately. went back to bed, sleeping with about as much success as before. finally got up around 2:00, when the misery had resolved itself identifiably into a migraine; took some tylenol and a decongestant, drank some water, and -- most importantly -- covered my eyes, lay down on the couch, and was finally able to rest peacefully.

will write up yesterday and post pictures later. urk.

Hope you're feeling better by now. I thought I'd write you here cuz I emailed you on, um, Sunday, I guess, about your story "Root and Branch," but you might not have guessed it was from me since for some reason I decided my Yahoo identity should be "Diana"

Anyway, I sent you a response and also recced you in my lj (for what that's worth). I also posted your Josh/Sam California 47th there along with another I wrote for you (well, really to thank you for getting me into the J/S mood). You probably missed them with being away, sickness, etc.

i got the thing on sunday, though i got it yesterday (and took a minute to realize it was you) and haven't had a chance to answer it -- yet. will do so when i get home. also noticed the rec. still can't get to that e-mail account from work. patience, grasshopper. :-) (but thanks for letting me crash on your couch!)
