what i've been thinking since the fourth time i saw PoA
you know the bit where harry's returning the crystal ball to trelawney's classroom, yeah? and he sees sirius black in the crystal ball, saying "harryyyyyyyy potter" in that creepy way people tend to do in these films.
i don't remember there being any actual divination in the movies except for The Prophecy -- there was the could-be-a-grim in the tea leaves (which was there in the movie) and in the clouds (ditto), but aren't tea leaves and cloud shapes a little more subjective? guy talks to you out of a crystal ball, don't you pretty much know that just happened?
yeah, so, does anyone else think the Book Six Foreshadowing might have something to do with the crystal ball enabling a person to communicate with someone beyond the veil?
