May I have your attention, please.

There is no word, in any dialect of English, spelled ya'll. The word you think you're writing when you do that is a contraction of you + all, and is therefore correctly spelled y'all. (Presumably ya'll would be a contraction of ??? [something beginning with ya] + will, following the pattern of other contractions ending with 'll, but damned if I know what.)

YES! Thank you; that always bothers me. My sister has actually been known to go up to the board and correct that one, it bothers her so much.
