life is a series of hellos and goodbyes

so. up before dawn this morning, to finish packing the last of the crap from my apartment into the car. cleaned the counters (no, datlowen, just with fantastik), swept, mopped, vacuumed, returned the keys etc., and hit the road at 9:00.

made the drive in six hours flat, including about a twenty-minute stop for gas and coffee. see what not getting stuck in traffic can do for you!

signed the car over to my brother and sister-in-law, and off they went. and now here i am, trying to decide what to take with me on thursday. it still doesn't quite seem real. i'm sure come thursday morning, it will.
