memo to self:

this is two days in a row that, after lying in bed thinking you should get up but can't, possibly, because you'll die, you have in fact felt better once you got up. good call for deciding to go to the thing yesterday, and be sure to thank P from downstairs for bringing you oranges and ringing the fucking doorbell until you got up to get them.

now go take a hot shower. the steam will help. and then hurry down to the chemist and get some more sudafed, so you won't feel like this tomorrow morning. (and more tissues, as well.)

they do have tissues with lotion in them, and i did get some. (what they have here that cracks me up is "mansize tissues". swear to god. there are tissues that are half again as big as ordinary ones, and marketed as being "for men". i have not yet met anyone of either sex who doesn't think this is awfully silly.) and i don't have upholstery, so no worries.
