what ever happened to Echo, anyway? i floated away from there almost three years ago now, i think, but y'all were still, like, there. and then maybe a year or so ago i like tried to change my e-mail address in my profile over there or something, and it was deserted -- tried to send something to dave, and it bounced back. no way to find him. (but i quickly realized it was a [virtual] ghost town [you may now throw things at me; that pun was especially for you, mr. weasel], so i quit caring.)
