Dear people who went to school with me: Why are you hiding? Come on out and play. (Oh, come on, you know you all suspected I was a total weirdo from the very start.)

Dear people who live in my building or are in my college currently: This was actually going to be a much more interesting bit of the open letter, before the other night. But now that everyone knows (or everyone who cares about gossip, anyway, knows) that I slept with B, there's nothing specific for me to flip out about. You know you all think I'm a weirdo, too.

Dear curlers other than flt and devilvern (and datlowen, jgesteve, etc., who don't count as "curlers" first in my book): [eta: this also includes pre-existing LJers like insptr_penguin, zen_of_punk, etc.] Um. Hi? Thank you for your discretion, I guess, but why are you hiding?

Dear Mom (read: anyone related to me by blood, and anyone married to such people): Stop reading. Clear your browser cache and pretend you were never here.

Oh, how interesting. Do you really suspect that some of these people are reading your LJ (your Mom? ack). Or is it just a fishing expedition?

To be honest the whole thing makes me nervous, thinking about who might be reading MY LJ.

oh, god, no. i was just talking about it with ... someone, i don't remember who ... a week or so ago, and i thought, you know, on the off chance that someone is reading this thing ... better cover my bases. :-)

eek, i didn't do co-workers, professors, etc. heh.
