... about such things as the QAF forwards from Pyfre? Because if so, she seems to have a point in regards to that and splintering isn't half bad if people actually follow through on it and join the side discussion lists. It works extremely well for a few lists. But the QAF posts are annoying...

I'm generally on Helens's side, and I've complained about Pfyre's forwarding before, when she's gotten carried away, but I'm trying to keep out of that one until the moderators chime in. I'm not opposed to having a few things of interest forwarded to the list, but 13 items on one topic does seem a bit ridiculous--especially since Pfyre has apparently gone fic-only.

Well, at least the list isn't dead....

no, that's not who i meant. (besides, those posts just happen to have come from a QAF list; she hasn't streamlined the header. they're actually about rick santorum, and they're off-topic and entitled to be there as long as they're labeled, which they are. besides, if the list splintered, the main list would be where such posts stayed.)
