woke up in the middle of the night coughing.  managed to get back to sleep; had very strange dreams that i don't remember in detail now, just that they were very very strange.  woke up stuffy and not breathing well.  managed to drag self out of bed and take cold medicine, but i feel better sooner than i should -- the stuff can't have taken effect yet, but things are clearer already, which makes me annoyed all over again that i can't sleep sitting up.  rar.

if anyone has made reservations, it hasn't been me, because, you know, all the way over here. :-) i'm inclined to doubt that anyone has -- if you'd do it, that'd be UBERFANTASTIC and let us both remind people as well!
