any idea why the WeatherPixie isn't appearing in people's profiles at the moment?  their website seems to be working fine, so i conclude it's an LJ thing and not a pixie thing; but my pixie is AWOL, and i don't see anyone else's either, so i'm pretty sure it's not just me.

it looks like the url to the weatherpixie image has been escaped as if for use in a GET -- specifically, the ?, &, and = signs are replaced with url-friendly ascii versions. this seems to be a new change in lj's userinfo (or .bml, maybe?) handling. if you look at the url, it looks like this:

http://weatherpixie.com/displayimg.php%3Fplace%3DEGVN%26trooper%3D30%26type%3D

when it should look like this:

http://weatherpixie.com/displayimg.php?place=EGVN&trooper=30&type=

unfortunately, i don't know what to do about it, since this happens automatically when you save your profile, but you could open a support request with lj and see if they know what might have caused this....
