so i went into the kitchen to throw away the cup from my Pot Noodle.  (hey -- it's quick and hot and spicy and i thought it might clear my head a bit, okay?)  homeboy J was doing dishes and i'd have to come right up behind him to get to the bin under the sink; but the kitchen door didn't creak or anything when i opened it, so in order not to surprise him i said "knock knock" before i even got too close.

boy jumped three feet.  it was actually sort of funny.  [dusts off hands] my work here is done.

sleepytime for me now ...
