the star wars people in LA have started lining up for Episode III already, yeah?  only the theater where they're lining up isn't showing Episode III.  and having been clued in, they are refusing to move to the correct theater.  this is an act of protest.

i couldn't possibly make this stuff up.  i'd encourage someone to make sure theferrett is paying attention, but since the item comes from wilwheaton, i think the news is probably already kind of making the rounds.

I saw the article a week or so ago. They started sitting there 7 weeks prior, and they are saying that last time around, they said that the movie was going to be shown at some other cinema, and then they did the premier at the Chinese theater, and that's why they are staying there. Gotta love fans.

Since the disappointment that was my get-up-at-midnight for the first showing that was Phantom Menace, I've boycotted the movies until the first $100mil gets made. I may wait for the first $200mil on this one.
