1. i was wrong about the college constitution -- it did fail, but the vote was 50-39 for it, and the reason it failed was that it didn't get the 2/3 majority it needed. so that's at least better than i thought.

3. sunburn: still burny, but fading and merging with the surrounding area. something else that helps: antibiotic ointment.mearagrrl probably remembers the worst sunburn i've ever had, with a creeping streaky skin infection that was all sorts of badness. this weekend's sunburn isn't that bad, but it's the worst on the right side of my neck, and the ol' triple antibiotic has brought it from painful down to just pretty uncomfortable. yay, OTC products.

Also, sunburns suck and hurt. I'm v. glad that although I ended up wtih a watch tan from my journeys, I shockingly managed to avoid sunburn the whole time, evne though I"m on drugs that make me burn EVEN EASIER than my usual ten minute time!

I just happened to be reading LJ for the first time in uhhh, a while (busy job!!) and so I'm around.
Congratulations on being tapped! I knew that you had been, because Ken sent me the letter with your name on it (I replied and asked if he needed me to forward said letter, and if there might also be a letter with MY name on it. No reply yet to that last query.)
On the roomie question - no idea if Vernon is going to be in town then or not.. probably won't know until much closer to the time. How about we each reserve rooms, and if we can cancel one and room together, we will?
