of calling out Homeboy J on the question of whether he's been hitting on me and i just haven't been picking up the signals correctly, or whether he's just being nice.

i'm not as invested in the answer itself (most likely 'he's just not that into you', i know) as i could be, have been in the past, etc.; but i'm a little annoyed with myself for being too lame to risk bringing up the subject even when i'm not that emotionally invested. meh.
