man, is happy loman a jerk, or what?

(answer:  yes, but it's because his father never noticed him -- which is an explanation, but not an excuse.)

had a lovely afternoon in london with [livejournal.com profile] kaalee, and then after leaving her i was passing by the lyric on my way to the tube, and the box office was open, and i thought, what the hell, curtain goes up in fifteen minutes, so i got me a £17.50 ticket to see death of a salesman (with brian dennehy), which was, as you might imagine, superlative.

and now i am back home, and think i will have some tea.

oh, also: wow, pantene kicks neutrogena's ass. [pets own hair]

Squeeee!!! so jealous!! Haven't been to the theater since I saw Zoot Suit here at the SD Lyceum (unless you want to count Sesame Street Live).

BUT! I am taking the Kid to see Beauty and the Beast as performed by the SD Junior Musical group-thingy-type people this weekend, and am terribly exicted. :D

another example of what I love about that side of the pond.

I did stuff like that ll the time when I lived there. and then now that i live here. I don't see a show without months and months of warning/prep.

I'm jealous. I missed that production when it was in Chicago, and it got terrific reviews. Next time Brian Dennehy is here, I've gotta make an effort to see him.
