tmi

i'm not sure i like knowing there's stuff that color in my stomach, much less coming out of it.

i'm more and more convinced the antibiotics are superfluous, but, i follow medical instructions and continue to take them, and wonder if it's time yet to take my acid blockers again.  [makes a face]  i'm not ready to die anymore, but i sure am still unhappy.

Let me add to the TMI and tell you that the colour my stomach produced in hospital this summer surprised even the nurses!! Fluorescent green is really scary

i am going to choose to ignore the introduction of the word 'hospital' into the proceedings, thanks. ;-)

ignore that!! On the plus side, at least there you get an appreciative audience!!

Oh honey, that doesn't sound good at all! Best of luck. Wish I could be nearby and bring you lemonade and saltines!

I wish you could get a head to toe diagnostic session. Total blood work like House would run, CT, etc. You've been sick with one thing or another for as long as I've "known" you in fandom :-(

Maybe insurance will cover it when you are back in the States? I'd so love it there was one, simple thing wrong and you wouldn't be sick anymore!

*hugs*

You know, that's a massive fantasy of mine - that there's this one, simple thing that causes EVERYTHING that's wrong with me, and that someday I'll find out what it is and fix it. Unfortunately it's always one little thing after another!

Fox, I hope you feel better RIGHT away. And I know what you mean about the *color*. Yeek.

nah. i'm not always sick -- it's just that nobody bothers to mention when they're well. :-) (also, i know what the underlying issue is; i had a virus not unlike mono in my senior year of college, which left my immune system a little weaker than it had been before i had it. and since i didn't come into fandom until after i'd graduated, you've never known me whole. [shrug] but, seriously, there's times i grumble about not feeling well, and there's times -- like the recent freshers' flu, or this right now -- when i'm really sick. it's nothing really to worry about; i know the difference. :-) )

it's just that nobody bothers to mention when they're well.

unless, i mean, the fact that they're well is newsworthy. say, when they're done with chemo and, hey, about to get off the crutches. [blush] i mean, ordinarily-healthy people don't normally talk about not being sick.

[hugs]

Don't worry about it - I know exactly what you mean. I just got over a lingering cold, but that's not post-worthy :-)
