long time since i got prescriptive, but damn (http://www.livejournal.com/users/rageprufrock/197520.html), you know? i mean, get meta with the characters not only knowing but pointing out the lay/lie difference, but then turn around and bring 'calloused'? grar!

some time i may get going on ordnance vs. ordinance, but i'll have to get really worked up for that. :-)

when it comes from a writer who has her characters point out the difference between 'lay' and 'lie' (http://www.livejournal.com/users/rageprufrock/197520.html), i am extra-double frustrated!

None of my spellchecks like: "callously", "callusly", "calously", etc ad naus.
