recall that my father's aunt died this past may 1.
my father's uncle, her husband, has been in a nursing home for a couple of years, not doing well at all; and this morning we got the news that he had died yesterday (which, incidentally, is the same hebrew date as my own aunt died two years ago). so those cousins, i mean, have lost both their parents within a shade more than six months. i suppose an argument could be made (by them; nobody else would dream of it, of course) that they'd lost their father a while ago. but still, it ain't right, man.
i have notes stamped and ready to go out in tomorrow's mail. le sigh.
my father was the ring-bearer at their wedding.
