the true miracle of christmas

shall i tell you what's miraculous?

when the first verse of "once in royal david's city" is sung solo and unaccompanied, and the second verse is sung by the full choir unaccompanied, and then the organ comes in for the third verse -- and it turns out the singers hadn't gone flat at all.

amen.

I'm glad it went well for you.

I love that hymn, it makes me very happy and remember nice things, I am now going to hum it as I go to sleep.

I'm totally impressed. Our conductor would be scared to death to try that with us.

That's like finding a parking spot on the first row at the mall, only less materialistic and more inspiring :-)
