migraines, they suck.
i didn't think it was a migraine; i thought it was just, i can't stay chez![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
datlowen and jgesteve without getting all kinds of dehydrated. i bought a bottle of water last night specifically because i was going to get dried out! and then when i woke up this morning i was parched eight ways to sunday, and i took a long shower because sometimes the steam helps my sinuses in ways that drinking water can't, and i realized i was also starving, so i ordered a pizza and made some soup (memo to self: get the boys some groceries), and turned down the heat and then, hell, i opened the window for five minutes, and i wet a paper towel and put it in the freezer and after five minutes i put it on my forehead and the back of my neck, and it helped a little bit, but finally i had to just lie down and close my eyes. and i think i dozed off for about half an hour, forty-five minutes, and when i woke up i felt -- not better, but a little less like i wanted to die. i'd been noticing the dehydration since i got back to the US, actually. that might be something else to put on my list. i am evidently totally acclimated to the damper british air.
memo to self: acquire some sort of pain reliever, and also a saline nasal spray. and tissues.
